YouFibre referral has changed: Aklamio links no longer work
In March 2026, YouFibre replaced its Aklamio link-based referral system with a direct code-based scheme. If you have an old referral link — or were sent one — it will no longer generate a reward. What changed and when
Until March 2026, YouFibre's referral scheme ran through a third-party platform called Aklamio. Existing YouFibre customers were given a personalised referral link via the Aklamio portal. When a new customer clicked that link and completed their order, the referral was registered automatically — no code was needed.
From 31 March 2026, YouFibre ended its arrangement with Aklamio and moved to a code-based referral system operated directly. Under the new system:
- Existing customers receive a short alphanumeric referral code (not a link).
- New customers enter that code manually at checkout on youfibre.com or by phone.
- The referral is registered at the point the code is entered — not via a click.
- The Aklamio portal is no longer active for YouFibre referrals.
The reward structure, eligibility rules, and processing timeline remain the same as before. What changed is the mechanism — from link-based tracking to manual code entry.
Why old referral links no longer work
Aklamio referral links worked by routing a new customer through the Aklamio tracking platform, which then passed a referral signal to YouFibre. That pipeline no longer exists. When someone clicks an old YouFibre Aklamio link today, one of two things will happen:
- The link redirects to youfibre.com with no referral data attached.
- The link fails entirely if the Aklamio endpoint has been deactivated.
In either case, no referral is registered and no reward will be generated — regardless of which package the new customer chooses or whether they complete their order.
There is no workaround for old links. The only way to refer someone under the current scheme is to share your referral code and have them enter it manually at checkout.
Already signed up via an old link? If a new customer signed up after 31 March 2026 using an Aklamio link (not a code), the referral will not have been registered. Contact YouFibre's customer support with your order details, but be aware that retrospective application of the code is generally not possible under the scheme's terms.

Choose a 12-month contract
The referral scheme applies to 12-month contracts only. Monthly rolling contracts do not qualify.
